My name is Randy Hruska and I am a first time Author. I am a regular person without any fanfare or notoriety. Married 50 years to my wife Pam 6/2/2023. Grew up in a small Czech/Catholic community in New Prague, MN. We have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. Four of our children are still married, and we have one divorced daughter. Graduated from Minnesota State University at Mankato in 1978, with a B.S. Degree in Bus. Adm. Owned and operated Ace Hardware stores from 1984-2019. Was ordained a Deacon in the Diocese of Cheyenne, Wy. 6/2000. – retired 1/1/2022. Operated a cattle ranch in Fairview, WY. from 1998-2021. I have worn many hats, but always as just a normal person in a everyday middle class society.

Epiphany
Through Songs

The word epiphany came to me as an “epiphany,” as something experiential, life changing and intriguing. As I received what I felt was spiritual revelation, I felt the urge to share what I had experienced, always hoping, and many times contemplating, before writing that my ideas were not egotistical but inspired. The “through songs” part of the title is an art form or medium that was/is allowing me to transform my life through the grace of God.

I highly recommend reading the book Epiphany Through Songs. I recognized many of the songs which gave me a deeper interpretation of the lyrics of the songs. I really liked the authors writing style. I felt as if I were having a conversation with my best friend. As I go through life I sometimes feel I'm the only person who has life experiences both positive and negative. While reading the book I found that I was not alone and that I had a friend in Jesus who is always there for me even though I may not always be there for him.

My favorite aspect of this book is its thoughtful application and translation of scripture passages, and how their message relates to our modern world through the lyrics of these popular songs of the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Fascinating! I highly recommend!.
